You can customize and manage communications sent to you by Barnes & Noble and Paper Source. At any time, you can opt in to receiving promotional emails, change what kinds of emails you receive, how frequently you receive them, or unsubscribe from receiving promotional emails.
To update your communication preferences on your BN.com account, including opting in to or opting out of communications, follow the steps below.
Click here to access your BN.com account. In the Settings box, locate Manage Email Preferences under the Account Settings box or in the left column of the screen.
Note: If you are a Barnes & Noble Member, these settings will also impact any Membership promotions that are sent to you.
On the Email Preferences page you can:
• Choose what types of Barnes & Noble emails you would like to receive:
• Choose the frequency with which you would like to receive emails from Barnes & Noble:
If you make any changes to your preferences, be sure to click the "Submit" button to finalize updates. If any preferences were changed, we will send you an email confirming the updates were made.
To update your communication preferences through a Barnes & Noble promotional email, including opting in to or opting out of communications:
You can also update your email preferences or opt out of receiving email offers by clicking on the links located at the bottom of all Barnes & Noble and Paper Source promotional emails.
By clicking the Unsubscribe button in the email footer, you will be taken to this screen, which will immediately present the option to be unsubscribed from all Marketing emails. If you unsubscribe, you may still receive Marketing emails for up to 10 days, as mailing lists for promotions are determined in advance of the email being sent.
Changing Marketing Email Preferences will not affect any order or service-related emails such as order confirmations, shipping confirmations, and account maintenance activities. You will continue to receive these service emails when placing an order or making changes to your account.
If you don't have a BN.com account, but want to receive emails about promotions and events
Scroll to the bottom of any page on BN.com and locate "Sign up for savings, news, updates" on the right side of the screen. Enter your email address in the field provided, click "Submit", and we'll send you our Welcome email!
Note: While it is not required, creating a BN.com account gives you the ability to manage and customize your communication preferences.
