Once the initial setup is completed, the Home Screen appears.
Status Bar
The Status Bar at the top of the screen includes the time and icons for battery status, Wi-Fi connectivity and notifications.
App Drawer
Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to access your App Drawer, where all of your downloaded apps are stored.
Quick Settings/Notification Panel
To access the Quick Settings and Notification Panels, swipe down from the top of the screen.
The Notification Panel will show any active notifications, such as active downloads, email alerts, available software updates, etc.
The Quick Settings Panel provides quick access to your NOOK functions such as Wi-Fi, allowing you to quickly turn them on or off.
Home Screen
The Home screen features widgets and app shortcuts that provide quick and easy access to your Library and to new NOOK Content.
