To find a word or phrase in a book using the NOOK for Windows 8 app:
1. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
2. Select Find from the app menu.
3. Type in the word of phrase of interest.
4. Select Enter.
5. If a word is found that matches the search term, it will appear highlighted on the screen.
6. To find the next or previous instance of the word or phrase, select Next or Previous from the look-up menu at the bottom of the screen.
