A common promotional offer on bn.com and Barnes & Noble stores is a Gift With Purchase (GWP) offer, where you will receive a free item when you make a qualifying purchase. Examples of past offers include receiving a free tote bag with purchase of $50 or more and receiving a free LEGO mini figure with any LEGO purchase.
When you add qualifying items to your cart on bn.com, an Available Gifts section will appear on the Cart page that highlights the free item you could receive. To take advantage of that offer, click the Add to Cart slider in the Available Gifts section.
If you add a qualifying GWP item and the offered gift to your cart, then remove the qualifying item, the gift item will remain in the cart and be billed at its full bn.com price.
The option to add the gift will also appear on the Checkout page under the list of items.
