This article lists the steps to follow to skip the Out of Box Experience (OOBE) and bypass device registration after the “Factory Screen” is accessed on NOOK Color.
You will need to first access the NOOK Color’s “Factory Screen.” If you do not know how to access this screen please follow the steps detailed here.
While on the Factory screen, tap the lower right corner of the screen while holding the Volume Up button.
A grey "Skip Oobe" button will now appear. 
Tap the button to completely bypass the video, time zone, Wi-Fi and Barnes & Noble Registration process.
