The Barnes & Noble NOOK app provides the Archive option to remove NOOK content from your mobile phone or tablet to save space on your device storage memory.
Archiving an eBook removes the file from the current device only. It can be downloaded again at any time from your Archive back into your Library.
Please note: Moving a title to the cloud requires the device to be connected to the internet.
How to Archive a Title
1. From the NOOK app screen, tap Library. A list of your Library titles will now appear.
2. Locate the title you would like to archive.
3. Press and hold (long press) on the title's cover. This opens a menu of options for this content.
4. Tap the Archive option.
The title is now removed from your device storage.
How to Download from Archive
- Tap the three dots in the upper right corner, then choose View Archive
- Tap the item’s cover and tap Unarchive from the menu that appears
