The Barnes & Noble NOOK app provides the Move to Cloud option to remove NOOK content from your mobile phone or tablet to save space on your device storage memory.
The Move to Cloud option removes the file from the current device only. The content thumbnail image that is displayed in Library will remain, displaying the "needs to be downloaded" icon on the title.
Please note: Moving a title to the cloud requires the device to be connected to the internet.
How to Move a Title to the Cloud
1. From the NOOK app screen, tap Library. A list of your Library titles will now appear.
2. Locate the title you would like to Move to Cloud.
3. Press and hold (long press) on the title's cover. This opens a menu of options for this content.
4. Tap the Move to Cloud option.
The title is now removed from your device storage. The image thumbnail of the content remains displayed in your Library, but the content will need to be redownloaded before it may be opened again. Tap on the image thumbnail of the item to redownload the content. Once the download has completed the content can now be accessed.
