Digital content that you've purchased from Barnes & Noble, such as eBooks or NOOK Newsstand items, can be accessed in your NOOK Library. Digital content listed in the NOOK Library can be Moved to the Cloud at any time.
The Move to Cloud option removes the file from the current device only. The content thumbnail image that is displayed in Library will remain, displaying the "needs to be downloaded" icon on the title.
To Move a title to the NOOK Cloud via your NOOK device:
1. Access the NOOK Library.
2. Identify the digital content that you want to Move to Cloud, then tap the content but do not release your finger. Tap on and hold your finger on the content for approximately 3 seconds.
3. After a second or so, a pop up screen will appear with an option to Move the content to the Cloud. Tap Move to Cloud to instantly move the selected content to the NOOK Cloud.
Please note: If the pop up screen with the option to Move to Cloud did not appear, release your finger and attempt Step 2 again.
4. If your content has been successfully moved to the Cloud, a cloud icon with a downward facing arrow will appear on the cover of the title in the upper left corner.
The title is now removed from your device storage. The image thumbnail of the content remains displayed in your Library, but the content will need to be redownloaded before it may be opened again. Tap on the image thumbnail of the item to redownload the content. Once the download has completed the content can now be accessed.
