The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CSPC) announced on Monday, April 8, 2013 a recall on BuckyBall products.
Because the manufacturer has gone out of business, the CPSC asked retailers who previously carried the product to conduct the recall themselves and Barnes & Noble is cooperating with this request by recalling the four (4) types of BuckyBalls products that B&N sold and up to the amount of BuckyBall items that B&N sold. Barnes & Noble recalled approximately 1,038 BuckyBall items. B&N recalled the following products from customers that purchased the product on BN.com or from B&N stores or Barnes & Noble College stores.

B&N sold only 1,038 units of Buckyballs to its customers and will accept these units for return and credit. Recalled product is typically returned directly to the manufacturer. However, as the manufacturer is unable or unwilling to participate in this recall, if you purchased Buckyballs from B&N, you may return them to B&N. Please call 1-800-THE-BOOK (1-800-843-2665) for instructions on how to return these Buckyballs. Stores will not accept recalled items.
