Placing a Bulk Order in Barnes & Noble Stores
For assistance with placing a bulk order, please contact your local Barnes & Noble retail store and ask to speak with that location's Business Development Manager or Business Development Specialists, who will be happy to assist you with requesting a price quote and placing your bulk order.

Information Needed When Requesting a Quote for a Bulk Order
If you would like to place a bulk order, please have the following details when speaking to the Business Development Manager or Specialist in your local store:
- Name, phone number, and company/institution.
- Date when the titles need to arrive (MM/DD/YYYY) - Full date required.
- Ship-to address (including City, State and Zip).
- Ship-to phone number.
- If you plan to pay with a Purchase Order, please note that in the "Additional Message" section of the Request for Pricing form.
Price Quotes & Inventory Checks
Price Quotes for volume orders are valid for 30 days. If a quote is accepted after the 30-day period, please work with your local Barnes & Noble store representative to ensure pricing has not changed.
We will check inventory at the time of the quote. However, until we receive confirmation of the order, we are not able to confirm whether or not the quantity you've requested is available.

Accepted Payment Methods
Barnes & Noble accepts all major credit cards. In addition, schools and institutions may purchase on a purchase order.
Purchase Orders
• If you are planning to pay using a Purchase Order, please note that in the "Additional Message" section of the Request for Pricing form.
• When ordering in a store, please be sure to inform the Business Development Manager or Specialist who is assisting you.
Bulk Orders Shipping Internationally
To request a price quote for or to place a bulk order that will be shipping internationally, please contact your local Barnes & Noble retail store and ask to speak with that location's Business Development Manager or Specialist, who will be happy to assist you.
International Shipping charges (outside of the contiguous United States) for bulk orders are based on weight and destination. If you are interested in shipping internationally, please provide full ship-to address, including postal code, at the time you request a price quote.
Shipping and Delivery
Bulk orders can be shipped to multiple addresses. The Business Development Manager will assist you with coordinating and confirming shipping delivery and instructions.
Depending on the type of order, the order due date and any special circumstances, shipping and handling fees may or may not apply.
For assistance with determining these costs, you may speak with that your Barnes & Noble location's Business Development Manager, or submit a request for pricing form on BN.com to determine the potential cost of your bulk order.
Taxes
Normal taxes apply to bulk orders. If your organization is tax exempt, you will be asked to provide a tax-exempt number and/or certificate.
Bulk Order Return Policy
All bulk sales are non-returnable.
However, if you feel that there are special circumstances and Barnes & Noble should accept the product return, please contact your local store's Business Development Manager who will work with you to find a solution.

Receiving Bulk Order Emails
If you do not receive a response to your request for a bulk order price quote within three business days, there is a good chance this email is being blocked by email filtering software in your computer, your email or internet provider, or your workplace email system.
If You Use an Email Filter
If the email system on your computer uses a filter or spam blocker, please add service@barnesandnoble.com
to your address book or "white list" to ensure that you receive emails about your query. While you are there, we suggest you also add bulkorders@bn.com to ensure that you receive emails about your order status.
If Your Company or Network Uses Email Filters
Please contact your email system administrator or Internet service provider to see if a filter or spam blocker is in use.
If Your Email Provider Uses Email Filters
Some Internet service providers or web-based email providers (see list below) have email filters or restrictions that may prevent our emails from reaching you. If you think that email from BN.com is being blocked, we suggest you add bulkorders@bn.com, service@barnesandnoble.com and aboutyourrequest@barnesandnoble.com to the address book or contact list offered by your email provider.
