To buy a Gift Card or eGift Card, visit the Barnes & Noble Gift Cards & eGift Cards page. You may also reach this page by clicking on the "Gift Cards" tab located at the top of most pages.

It may take approximately one hour for your eGift Card to be delivered to the specified email address after your purchase is completed. During peak times with higher volume, such as holidays, delivery time may increase to up to 2 hours.

To purchase a Gift Card:

From the Gift Cards page, click on the image of the Gift Card you would like to send.

Select Mail Gift Card (to send a physical Gift Card) or E-mail Gift Card (to send an eGift Card) and fill out the Delivery Details information. 

Click Add to Cart and, once you are ready, go through the steps to complete your order. 

Additional Information

Physical Gift Cards can also be purchased at any Barnes and Noble store and some third party stores, like grocery stores, pharmacies, or big box/department stores.

When purchasing an eGift Card, the purchaser will be able to schedule a date in the future for the eGift Card to be delivered, or choose to have it delivered immediately.

Gift Cards and eGift Cards may be purchased in any amount between $10 and $350.

Barnes & Noble Gift Cards have no expiration date or dormancy fees

Please note: Gift Cards do not come in carriers or with any envelopes. Carriers can be purchased for a nominal fee. For corporate orders, carriers can be co-branded to include your organization's logo.
