When enrolling in Membership in stores, your Membership will automatically renew and the Member fee will be automatically charged annually about 30 days prior to the Membership expiration date to the credit or debit card you provided at enrollment, or the credit or debit card that was updated or that we currently have on file.
At any time prior to the automatic renewal charge date, you may opt out of automatic renewal by clicking here and notifying us you want to opt out of automatic renewal.

You may elect automatic renewal through your BN.com account by visiting your Membership page, opting in and providing a credit or debit card (other than a debit card requiring a PIN).
Please note: Your Membership must be linked to your BN.com account to enroll in Automatic Renewal online. For details on how to save your BN Membership to your BN.com account, click here.
To enroll in BN Membership automatic renewal:
- Click here to access the Membership Management page. You may be required to sign in to your BN.com account.
- Click on ""Manage" located under B&N Membership.
- Click the ""Edit Settings"" link, located under the Automatic Renewal Settings section. Select ""Yes, Sign Me Up for Automatic Renewal"" and enter your credit or debit card information in the fields that appear.
- After entering the debit or credit card information each corresponding field, click ""Save Changes"".
If at any time, you need to update your payment method for Automatic Renewal, simply follow these steps again, add the new payment information, and save your changes.
*If you have a $25 Membership and are upgrading to Premium and are more than 30 days from your expiration date, you will be required to provide a credit card to be used for Automatic Renewal, even if you are paying in cash. You can opt out of Automatic Renewal at any time before your renewal date.
