Linking your Member information to your BN.com account is required for you to apply your Membership to purchases made on BN.com. If your Membership is not associated with your BN.com account, you will not receive Free Member Shipping or be able to use Member-only coupons online.
To Link Your BN Membership to Your Account
1. Click here to access the Membership Management page. You may be required to sign in to your account
2. Click the "Program Type" dropdown menu, choose "B&N Membership" from the options, and enter your BN Member number in the Card Number field. Do not include any spaces or dashes when entering your BN Member number.
3. Click the "Submit" button to save and confirm.
Your BN Membership is now saved to your BN.com account and will automatically be applied to your future purchases.
The first initial and last name on your Membership must exactly match the first and last name on your BN.com account. Be sure to check for any punctuation, such as periods in initials, commas in suffixes (Jr, Sr, etc.), or apostrophes in last names, or any unintended spaces in your information, as any inconsistencies such as these will cause you to not be able to register their Membership.
If your Membership is ever disconnected from your BN.com account for any reason, you can always associate it again by following the steps above. However, your Membership can only be saved to one BN.com account at a time. If you wish to change the email address associated with your Membership, please call Member Services at 1-866-238-READ.
