Local Interest in Selling Your Book
If your local Barnes & Noble wants to sell your book, your book must be in our system as a returnable item. If you are published through Barnes & Noble Press, your book is considered a Print-on-Demand item and, per our Terms and Conditions, Print-on-Demand items cannot be considered returnable.
If you are distributing through LSI, reach out to your publisher to update the terms for your book. Please note that changing your terms is not a guarantee of shelf placement or that a store will agree to an event.
Selling Your Published Book
To have your book added to the Barnes & Noble database for availability on bn.com, please send your ISBN to publisherauthorinquiry@bn.com for assistance.
Click here for Instructions on how to submit titles for store placement consideration. Due to the high volume of submissions, the review process can take 4 to 6 weeks, and you will be contacted via email with the buyer’s decision.
