Before you can apply your rewards to your purchases, you must confirm the email address you provided when you first enrolled in Premium or Rewards Membership.
If you sign up for a new Premium or Rewards Membership, or if you update the email address on an existing Membership, an email is sent to confirm the email address and a Confirm Email button is made available in the Manage Membership page of your bn.com account. Once you click the Confirm Email button in that email or your account, you will be able to apply your rewards to your purchases both online at bn.com and in Barnes & Noble and Paper Source stores.
The Confirmation link in the email is valid for 24 hours. If you miss the 24-hour window, you can receive a new Confirmation email by clicking the expired link in the original confirmation request email. Alternatively, the Confirm Email button is always available in your account until the account is confirmed.
