If you need assistance locating your serial number, directions to do so on bn.com, through your device settings, and locating the physical printed serial number are listed below.
On bn.com
Click here to go to your Manage Devices page. If you are not signed in, sign to the account registered to your device.
On that page, your NOOK will be displayed with the device type, an image, and the Serial Number displayed.
In Device Settings
Your Serial Number is listed in your NOOK device's Settings in the menu labeled Device Settings or Device Info, then About Your NOOK.
Printed on your NOOK
Serial Numbers are also physically printed on your NOOK.
NOOK GlowLight
The Serial Number is located on the bottom of NOOK GlowLight, underneath the removable Soft-Touch Trim. Pinching and pulling the Soft-Touch Trim down at the bottom of the device, next to the Micro-USB port, will expose your serial number.
*NOOK GlowLight Serial Numbers are 16 digits and will start with a three.
If you pull the Soft-Touch Trim off completely, it's okay. It can be placed back on the device easily.
NOOK Simple Touch & Simple Touch with GlowLight/STGL
- Turn your NOOK over so the screen is facing down. Locate the covered microSD card slot on the upper left side.
- Lift up the cover to reveal your 16-digit serial number.
NOOK Color/Tablet
- Turn your NOOK over so the screen is facing down.
- Locate the covered microSD card slot labeled "NOOK" in the lower right corner.
- Place your thumb between the slot and the curved bar and lift up to reveal your 16-digit serial number.
NOOK HD
- Locate the covered microSD card slot on the lower edge.
- Place your thumb between the slot and the curved bar and lift up to reveal your 16-digit serial number.
NOOK HD+
- Locate the covered microSD card slot on the lower edge.
- Place your thumb between the slot and the curved bar and lift up to reveal your 16-digit serial number.
