Your eBook, individual newsstand and magazine issue, and a la carte B&N Audiobook purchases will receive stamps for use in our Membership Rewards Program. Stamps are calculated for digital content purchases based on whether the order is placed on bn.com or on the Shop/Bookstore of your NOOK Device, as detailed below. 

Digital Purchases on bn.com

Digital content orders made on bn.com will calculate stamps the same as physical product orders. eBook and/or Audiobook orders will earn one stamp for every $10 spent on the order.

For example, purchasing one $22 Audiobook on an order where that is the only item will earn 2 stamps. An order of 3 eBooks for $10 each will earn 3 stamps.

Placing multiple orders for a single digital item on bn.com where each item is less than $10 will not earn any stamps, as those purchases are not aggregated.

Digital Purchases on a NOOK Device

To calculate the $10 threshold required to earn a stamp, purchase totals are aggregated over a 24-hour period from 3:00AM-2:59AM Eastern Time.

For every $10 increment of digital content purchases made within that 24-hour period, you will earn 1 stamp within the next 24-48 hour period.

Examples:

• Using your NOOK Glowlight 4, you purchase 4 eBooks for $8 each within the time frame listed above.
  • The aggregated total of those purchases is $32, which earns 3 stamps. 
• Using your NOOK Glowlight 4 Plus, you purchase 2 ebooks for $6 each on Monday night at 11PM Eastern Time, then two more eBooks for $7 each on Tuesday morning at 4AM Eastern Time.
  • Since two purchases were made before the 2:59AM ET cutoff, and two were made after, they will aggregate separately, and only one stamp will be issued for each group ($12 for the first pair, $14 for the second pair)

Stamps are not earned on eGift purchases, Digital Newsstand or B&N Audiobook subscriptions, or Audiobook purchases made using a subscription credit. Only individual digital newsstand (magazine & newspaper) issues and Audiobooks paid for with a credit card, gift card, or Shop Pay will qualify for stamps.

Using Rewards to Purchase Digital Content

Rewards can only be used to purchase eBooks and individual digital magazines, newspapers, and Audiobooks by adding the items to your cart and checking out on bn.com. NOOK Devices and Apps cannot be used to apply rewards to digital content purchases.
