As a Premium or Rewards Member, you earn a stamp for every $10 spent on eligible items in a single transaction on bn.com, in Barnes & Noble and Paper Source stores, and on NOOK Devices. Orders on papersource.com do not currently earn stamps.
Note: There is no carryover between transactions.
For example:
- a $13 purchase only earns one stamp. The additional $3 is not applied to your next purchase.
- Making two $15 purchases will earn two stamps. The $5 from each transaction do not combine to a third stamp.
Stamps are earned and rewards can be redeemed on purchases of the following items on bn.com, on the Barnes & Noble App, and in Barnes & Noble and Paper Source stores:
- Books
- Café items
- Gift items
- Movies/Music
- NOOK devices
- eBooks and individually purchased Audiobooks, and single issues of Digital Newsstand items
- NOTE: Rewards cannot be redeemed on purchases made from a NOOK Device/App. To pay for an eBook/Audiobook purchase with rewards, place your order on bn.com.
- Toys & Games
For store purchases, stamps earned will appear on your account within 24-48 hours.
For orders placed on bn.com, stamps are not issued to your account until the items in the order are shipped. If there are multiple shipments, this could result in you receiving stamps on different days.
For example: if you place an order for $40, you will receive 4 stamps once all items are shipped. If on one day, $30 worth of items ship, you will receive 3 stamps. Once the other $10 item ships, you will receive the 4th stamp, as your total shipped value has reached $40.
The following items are not eligible for earning stamps:
- Premium Membership fees (new or renewal)
- B&N Kitchen restaurants' items
- Audiobook Subscriptions and credits
- Digital Newsstand Subscriptions
- Hardware and electronics (other than NOOK devices)
- Gift Cards or eGift Cards
- Fees, such as Gift Wrapping on bn.com, Shipping, Premium Membership (new or renewal), Eco fees, etc.
- Taxes
- Textbooks purchased on bn.com through 3rd parties
