Earn a virtual stamp for every $10 you spend on eligible items within one transaction in a Barnes & Noble or Paper Source store or on bn.com.
Once you earn 10 stamps, they will be converted to $5 reward in your bn.com account within 24 hours. You may redeem rewards at any time in store or on bn.com in transactions with eligible items. There is no limit to the number of stamps or rewards that you can earn in any given amount of time.
For example:
- If you spend between $10.00 and $19.99 on eligible items in a transaction, you will earn 1 stamp.
- If you spend between $20.00 and $29.99 on eligible items in a transaction, you will earn 2 stamps.
- If you spend between $30.00 and $39.99 on eligible items in a transaction, you will earn 3 stamps
- And so on with every $10 spent
For purchases made on bn.com, stamps are issued as your items ship. If an order ships in multiple packages, you may not receive all your stamps at the same time.
For example:
- In a $30 order,
- 2 stamps are issued when the $20 item ships.
- Another stamp is issued when the $10 item ships the next day.
- In a $20 order,
- 1 stamp is issued when the $10 item ships
- No stamp is issued when a $5 item ships
- The second stamp is issued when the next $5 item ships
- This is because the total shipped value has reached $20, which qualifies for the second stamp
Stamps are also earned on eBook/Audiobook purchases from a NOOK Device. To calculate the $10 threshold required to earn a stamp, purchase totals are aggregated over a 24-hour period from 3:00AM-2:59AM Eastern Time.
For example:
At 11:00AM, you purchase an eBook for $5. Then, at 7:30PM the same day, you purchase a digital Audiobook for $15 using the same bn.com account. Those purchase totals will be collected and calculated at $20, which issues 2 stamps in the following 24-48 hours.
As with physical items, stamps are not issued until the items are “shipped”, which for digital content means it is delivered to your NOOK library. If you pre-order an eBook or digital Audiobook, any stamps to which you are entitled will be issued once the item is available for download.
Qualifying purchases for earning stamps include all items except: Premium Membership fees (new or renewal); Gift Cards; electronic Gift Cards; Digital Newsstand subscriptions; B&N Audiobook subscriptions; Audiobook purchases made with a subscription credit; hardware and electronics (other than NOOK devices); Barnes & Noble Kitchen items; textbooks purchased on bn.com through 3rd parties; gift-wrapping; shipping; other fees; and taxes.
Rewards may be applied to all items in a purchase except: Premium Membership fees (new or renewal); Gift Cards; electronic Gift Cards; Digital Newsstand subscriptions; B&N Audiobook subscriptions; Audiobook purchases made with a subscription credit; hardware and electronics (other than NOOK devices); B&N Kitchen items; textbooks purchased on bn.com through 3rd parties; gift-wrapping; shipping; other fees; and taxes.
Note: Rewards are not able to be redeemed when placing orders through a NOOK device's Shop/Bookstore or Barnes & Noble NOOK App, through Instant Purchase on bn.com, or when placing Café Mobile Orders in the Barnes & Noble App.

Stamps do not expire, unless there is no activity on your account within the last 12 months. Rewards do not expire.
