As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure customer experience online, as of January 18, 2023 we will require that the same email address be used in your Membership profile and the BN.com account to which your Membership is linked.
To meet this requirement, at the end of the day on January 17, 2023, we will automatically update your Membership email address to match the email address on your linked BN.com account. If you are okay with this, no action is required from you.
If you would rather change your BN.com email address to match the email address associated with your Membership, instructions to do so are listed below.
To update the email address on your BN.com account:
- First, log out of any NOOK Devices or Apps that are logged in with the email address that you are changing. After you change the email on your account, sign back in using the new email address to access your NOOK Library
- Log in to your BN.com account via My Account [link to BN.com My Account] with your current BN.com email address and password.
- Click “Manage Account Settings” in the “Account Settings” section.
- In the Update Your Email Address section, enter your new email address twice to confirm it and then click Save Changes.
After you change the email on your account, you can sign back in to your NOOK Devices using the new email address to access your NOOK Library.
If your Membership is expired, you will not be able to update your email address on your Member Profile until/unless you renew the Membership and it becomes active again. You can renew your Membership at any time on BN.com or by visiting your local Barnes & Noble store.
