You can create a NOOK account by providing an email address and password on nook.com. A NOOK account that includes a default payment method lets you shop for eBooks, Magazines and Newspapers. Having a NOOK account also allows you to synchronize your NOOK for Web library with other NOOK Applications you might have, such as NOOK reading software applications installed on your iPad®, iPod touch®, Android Tablets, PC, Mac or smartphone (iPhone® or Android phone).
Your NOOK account is ready for use once you have set up the following:
· An email address
· An approved default payment method
· A current billing address
