The Text-to-Speech output option under the Accessibility tab allows NOOK HD/NOOK HD+ to read aloud content that is being viewed.
To enable Text-to-Speech, complete the following:
1. Tap Settings, the gear shaped button located at the top, right corner.
2. Tap All Settings.
3. Tap Applications.
4. Tap Reader.
5. Tap Enable accessibility - Currently in BETA. A check mark will appear in the box next to Enable accessibility - Currently in BETA.
6. Tap the desired paragraph.
