To erase and deregister your NOOK from the Barnes & Noble web site:
1. Go to www.barnesandnoble.com and sign in to your BN.com account.
2. Select Manage Account and scroll down to Digital Content.
3. Under Digital Management, select Manage Your NOOK.
4. Your registered devices will appear.
5. To the right of each device's image are 3 links, select Erase & Deregister Device.
6. A dialog box will open. Select Deregister.
7. Confirm or cancel the process.
