To save storage space on your NOOK Tablet or NOOK Color, you can archive content you're not currently reading.
Archiving keeps a copy of a book in your account on the Barnes & Noble website, while removing all but the most basic information about the book (such as its cover, title, author, and description) from your Library. You can unarchive a title at any time, so your reading material is never lost.
To Archive a title on NOOK Color or NOOK Tablet:
1. Access your NOOK Library.
2. Locate the content you want to Archive, then press and hold on the cover of the title. This populates a new menu with options.
3. Tap on the "Archive" option to archive the title.
Tapping archive will archive the book, newspaper, or magazine and automatically create a bookshelf, called "Archived" in your Library. Access the Archived shelf to find all of your archived items.
To Unarchive a title on NOOK Color or NOOK Tablet:
If the title has already been Archived, complete Steps 1 and 2, then tap on the Unarchive option to make the title available in your Library again.
